Read your Bible through carefully and prayerfully once a year. Never miss a day. Be willing to obey each teaching you find: it is God speaking to you.
Psalms is the Bible hymn book: with Proverbs read one a day. You will cover these two books twice a year. Start the day this way. Let them lead you to worship and pray. Cover the other reading during the day.
This plan alternates Old and New Testament books for interest. OT Books are Law, Prophets and Writings, the order in which Jesus read them. Hebrew Bibles still use this order. Ivan Panin established the NT order.
