(Prepositions)
In the prior examples, we looked at the prepositions:
1) (ek) - out of, like exit:
2) (eis) - into:
3) (di or dia) - through, like diameter:
4) (ana) - up:
5) (apo) - away from:
6) (epi) - on, or upon, like epidermis,
the skin on our bodies:
7) (para) - beside:
8) (en) - in:
9) (pros) - towards, onward:
10) (upo) - under:
11) (pro) - before:
12) (meta) - with (w/genitive & dative cases) or
after (w/accusative case) in the word repentance
(meta + nous), shows a change of mind after we
consider our ways & after thinking about how we
stand with God.
We are now
going to look into 2 more prepositions that are very exact in showing
our time and place relationship to God, and His plan through the ages,
to bring us closer to Himself!
These 2 new prepositions are:
13) ( peri) - around, (like perimeter), concerning:
14) (sun) - with, together, fellow accompany:
Mark 3:31-35 "Then His (Jesus') mother and His brothers came and standing outside ( ek), they sent word to Him and called Him. A crowd was sitting around Him and told Him, look, Your mother, Your brothers and Your sisters are outside ( ek) seeking You. He answered them saying, who is My mother and My brothers? And looking about those who were sitting in a circle around Him, He said, "Here are My mother and My brothers! Whoever does the will of God is My brother, sister and mother."

Matthew 4:23 "Jesus was going all over Galilee teaching in their synagogues ( + aywyn sun + agogee) preaching the good news of the Kingdom, healing every disease and sickness among the people."
The word synagogue is directly from the Greek. It is a compound word, formed by combining sun + ago. Ago means bring, lead, go, be. Now joined with sun (see 14 above) and ou get: bring together, go with, be accompanied with.
Thus the fundamental idea behind a synagogue is a gathering together to:
1) Read the Bible - Luke 4:16-19
2) Preach the Good News about the Kingdom - Matthew 4:23
3) Heal every disease and sickness - Matthew 4:23
So where are ( + aywyn sun + agogee) synagogues or gatherings found in the Bible?
1) A place where the Bible is heard and read - Luke 4:16-19
2) Jesus' house
3) Wherever 2 or 3 are gathered together in Jesus name,
Jesus is there among them - Matthew 18:18-20
The Following Is The Blueprint
Of A True New Testament
Synagogue
Psalm 14:5 "...for God is in the circle
of the righteous."
Luke 4:16-19 "And He came to Nazareth where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read. And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. An He opened the book and found the place where it was written, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord."
Mark 2:1-4 "When He had come back to Capernaum several days afterward, it was heard that He was at home. And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room, not even near the door; and He was speaking the word to them. And they came, bringing to Him a paralytic, carried by four men. Being unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Him; and when they had dug an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic was lying."
Matthew 18:18-20 "Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."
