(Prepositions)
(Revised 12/9/10)
God the Father created us through Jesus' hands, then men fell. Now God wants us to return home, come back into Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
This
whole idea of returning home to God the Father is found in all of the
Bible. Jesus began His ministry by telling His disciples, "Come follow
Me". Jesus also said that He was the door and that no one can come to
the Father, but through Him.
Mankind was banished from the garden and access to the tree of Life. The
following examples show the same story, only from a little different
example.
God's Kingdom vs
This Worlds Kingdom
John
3:7 "Do not marvel that I (Jesus) said to you, You must
be born again."
Most Christians have heard, read and even quoted the
expression "You must be born again". Until I started reading the New
Testament in the original Greek language, I used to quote it that way
too. But here's what I saw - The word again here is the Greek
word anothen, not palin. Palin is the principal word for
again (found 142x) in the Greek, anothen ( ) means something very
different in some ways you might find very interesting.
We are now going to introduce to you the preposition ana (ava)
which means up. The Greek
says "You must be born Up"
We Must Be Born Up
