Resurrection of the Dead

Resurrection
Anastasis () is a compound word derived from two Greek root words; ana () up + histemi ()to stand. English translation, (KJV), to stand, arise up and resurrection. For a more complete study of the root word stand, refer to Stegenga pages 367-377.

Dead
Nekros () English translation (KJV) dead. Found in the Stegenga on pages 513-514.

Please notice every place you see imper. (in red), that the word is in the imperative mood, meaning that it is a command. And if you believe that God is speaking to you in that particular instance, you, my friend, are commanded to stand up.
